During Ryan’s almost-11-month life (WHAT?!), he has hit many milestones. Moments that took my breath away. Moments that filled me with pride. Moments that made me happier than I ever thought possible.

You know what I’m talking about: His first smile, the first time he rolled over, his first word, the first time he clapped to mimic us.

We may have hit the biggest milestone of all last night. The moment I’ve been waiting 11 long months for…

Baby’s first meal from Greek Wraps.

Oh, I’m sorry, do you not know what Greek Wraps is? Well, how incredibly sad for you. It’s only the best Greek food known to man.

Mike and I decided we needed some mid-week take out (we are wild and crazy and fun like that). I put in my usual order for hummus and pita, and then it hit me: The Bubber might like a little falafel. Dude likes chick peas. Dude likes random stuff mashed together. Dude likes fried food. (At least, I assumed he liked fried food. Cuz who doesn’t like fried food?)

 Uh… falafel?

 Oh, mmmmm! Falafel!

 Heh. It’s so good.

Why did you let me go 11 months without this?

So now I’m sure he’s my kid. I mean, that whole pregnancy thing was a pretty good indication, but now I’m sure-sure, you know?
