Six months ago, Ryan’s first day in his new daycare also happened to be “School Picture Day.”
We didn’t have high hopes for those pictures. First day in a scary new place with scary new people and a room full of scary toddlers who were all older than him… That’s a recipe for a bad picture, no?
Imagine our shock when this was the result.
Fast forward six months to last week and we were pretty excited about the next picture day. Our kid had proven that he could be Mr. Junior Harvard Headshot in the worst of circumstances. Imagine the cuteness we were in for now that he was actually acclimated to the school and in love with his teacher and feeling safe and secure and whatnot.
