I’ve complained here and there about the fact that Kid still does not say “mama.”

I feel I have a right to whine about this. I have been his mother for more than 20 months. I have cleaned messes I couldn’t have even imagined pre-kid. I have been slapped in the face repeatedly. I have bounced, rocked and swayed that kid within an inch of his life. I don’t ask for much. I just want to be addressed by something other than “uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuhhh!”

I still have not heard “mama” cross his lips. But lately, he does say something that totally makes up for it.

Hello, I am Baba.

Is there anything I can do to ensure he still calls me “Baba” when he’s 25? Cuz it rocks my world.
